On Saturday, I went to the Crafty Bastard's arts and crafts fair. It was a crazy eclectic mix of mediums, all made by artists instead of just crafters. From monster purses to shadow puppets to mean cards and jewelry made out of nuts and bolts, this was a rockin arts festival. Many cities have first Fridays, where galleries open all over the city on Friday nights, bands come out to play and you meet the most interesting people.
